2018 Theme
Open New Horizons for Spreading Joy: Young People, the Faith, and Vocational Discernment
Our theme for Veritas in this Year of Youth is “Open New Horizons for Spreading Joy: Young People, the Faith, and Vocational Discernment”. This theme is inspired by the words of Pope Francis at World Youth Day 2016 where He called young people and the Church to welcome new opportunities for sharing the joy and hope of the Risen Christ.
An initiative of Catholic Youth Network
Veritas is the collaborative effort of many Catholic youth networks across WA including Catholic Youth Ministry Perth. Last year over 600 young people attended the event. This year our target is 1000 attendees. Attendees will come from across WA from different Catholic parishes, schools and youth groups.
